CHARTER

Our Objectives are:

To inform, and educate the Australian Printing and Graphic Communications industry to the value of adopting Standards Based Printing technologies as the foundation for compliance with all the relevant ISO Standards.

To strongly promote the value proposition of adopting Australian Standards within the scope of the TC 130 Graphic Technology (EX 004) Technical Committee’s role as Australia’s peak monitoring organisation for the ISO 12647 suite of Standards.

To review, comment and vote on drafts proposing new standards, new parts to existing standards and on changes to current parts of existing standards.

To act as a conduit and catalyst for the dissemination of information that will lead to industry wide implementation of ISO compliant practices across the broad spectrum of TC 130 Graphic Technology.

Our Commitment is that:

We will, in all of our activities, adhere to ethical standards of behaviour that respects and preserves confidentiality, copyright, patent ownership and the rules, regulations and reputation of the ISO.

We will respect our fellow TAG members and will refrain from seeking commercial gain whilst engaged in or on official TAG business.

We will, over time, establish a broad communication network related to standards issues which encourages input from a wide cross section of stakeholders.

We will establish specific, achievable objectives which will be contained in a concise business plan which will be reviewed quarterly and updated annually.
